There's a girl I know who doesn't believe in trying or eating the same thing twice because according to her, we only live once and there are so many things out there that we can't even finish trying! Therefore, we should try as many variety of F.O.O.D as we can, as long as we live.
That girl, is actually me. (=
However, if a place could make me wanna go there TWICE, I dare say there must be something special or good about it. Be it the food, ambiance, service, or simply just the location; if I want to go there again, I think these places deserve to be shared with you.
1. Shin Chan Ramen
Shin Chan Ramen located at Solaris, Mt Kiara. It is 2 rows in front of Cold Storage and it looks like this:
Welcome~!
This is a huge ass sweating ball. You'll know what I mean when you get there.
There's a comic section in front of the restaurant for comic lovers. (=
And aloooooooooha~ The Menu!
There is a page with Ramen pictures like the above. I would suggest to go for the ones with Japanese words printed ON it.
This is their signature Beef Ramen; which tastes absolutely tasty!
While this is one bowl of awesome stuff! What I find special about it is the butter. A piece of butter will be given to be dissolved into this sweet, rich broth.
2. Fusion Heaven
Wore Pretty in Pink to visit Heaven. (kononnya lah)
This restaurant was once introduced by our very own local TV show, Ho Chiak!
Check out this MANGO SALAD. There's even a VIDEO made out of it!
Ain't it like a flower? Hear it CRACKS!!! ^^
It is light yet creamy, sweet yet tangy. Be you born a boy or a girl, you'll enjoy savouring this piece of fresh art.
There is a wide spread of fusion varieties for you to choose from and they all look very sunny and colorful!
This is a fusion of Russian and Italian. Special noh?
Hot Chocolate Fudge with Ice Cream~! SCREAM!!!!! It is too good to believe and it's pretty cheap.
I guess I truly went to heaven. Hehe!!
3. Jesus I wish I could remember this place's name but I couldn't. What a shame, but I really like this place.
Wake up one Sunday morning and come HERE! This cafe' is located at Solaris, Mt Kiara.
I just fell in love at first sight with this Hollywood design cafe'.
Such lovely, lovely, breakfast platter of toasts and butter, scramble eggs, crispy bacons, sauté' mushrooms, and a heart shape pancake with maple syrup?! :DDD
If you (ever) wondered what my first choice is when it comes to beverages, it is none other than hot soy. I never fail to order hot soy if they have it; which they always don't. )=
Does eating good food and being happy make hair grows longer? lol!
4. Jarrod and Rawlins (ahhh~ we all know this one)
But I ONLY go to the one near HELP College where you pick your own sausages downstairs...
And dine outdoors with great, sexc, ambiance.
My Sangria (means bloody) and the ever smooth Kill Kenny.
Truly mesmerized by the magical wine punch mixture with a twist of Spain and Portugal.
Oohh yeah, it feels like THIS!
I. LOVE. RED. MEAT. I'm like a man, man!
Trust me, I eat like a man.
5. Fong Lye @ Gardens
Just like J&R, Fong Lye has a few branches; including Desa Sri Hartamas. (J&R has a branch there as well.) I only go to the one at Gardens because only there, they serve desserts.
Hello tea~!
Tea here is pretty ex lorrr...
Food here comes in sets and I, personally think that you can actually share a set with a friend so that you have space for dessert. The dessert here, must NOT be missed!
This is a Taiwanese Meatball - PLEASE DON'T ORDER. Not that good.
Remember to try the orange color sweet potato balls! (Sorry no picture)
6. Udang King @ Mt Kiara
Easy name to remember? Not an easy place to find.
Find Mt Kiara Coffee Bean and go down further a lil'. Udang King is hidden inside a condominum opposite Wendy's.
What's Udang King if you don't order prawns?!
But if you are allergic to seafood, you can also go for the beef. It tastes equally nice.
ABC.
7. Our last stop for the day; M.O.F. specializing in Japanese Dessert.
My advice to you when you come here is not to be too GREEDY.
Because everything here is just too TEMPTING!
Let's start.
This is a MUST. You don't order this = You DIE. It is just too good to be true! Taste, texture, and even temperature - You got it all.
This one is so-so only. It is made out of the same ingredients as the first dessert but without the hot sweet potato bolsters; while the mochi balls are a bit too hard. =/
I only admire the texture of this morsel. Taste wise... not so much.
This one is good. Two thumbs UP!!
Believe it or not, I ordered all these at one go. Greedy. Lured by the Sugar Devil. And at the end of the whole dessert session, I'm pretty sure it wasn't contented my stomach was feeling but displeasure and discomfortness. Sigh~
Too much of any thing is never good baby. And remember, you are what you eat! *;)
