driving thru my favvvorite SMART tunnel,,, which is not thattt "smart" after all -or they wouldn't have to close it whenever it bloody drizzles! Right?!
i wonder if they really have those damnnn cameras tracking speeders -i run at 90 km/h in here.

ReplyDeletefyi..the last time i checked, the smart tunnel cameras are not linked to the JPJ & police system. there more for inhouse security purpose. HOWEVER, the LDP has activated their cameras and those nasty buggers are linked to JPJ.
i know becoz my company built smart tunnel and the LDP. :P
smart tunnel is primarily used to divert the river flow from entering KL...reducing the risk of the river bursting its banks and causing a flood. so, sometimes, when it only drizzles in KL, it could be absolutely POURING outside KL, and the river water will rise nonetheless. and this triggers the flood evacuation exercise. and everytime after they run the river thru the tunnel, they need to do the routine cleaning and system checks before clearing for public use. that usually takes about 1-2 days. its a LONG tunnel mind you!! hahaha......there...a simple clarification for you! hope it helps. :)

ReplyDeletedear cc, i was told by the producer that Malaysian Dreamgirl is not solely a MODEL search; but they are looking at someone who can do everything -acting, hosting, etc. but looks like it's shaped towards the "model-model" direction after all. you are not the only one fooled; i was, & i believe many others out there too.

Smurfs?! hahaha....i love those little blue characters. no lah! cameras are for traffic monitoring and also safety. it's very noisy inside becoz you're inside a hard solid concrete tunnel. noise emitted from the vehicles gets trapped inside the tunnel without a direct escape route, hence it resonates and echoes inside the tunnel creating that 'unusual' noise you always hear when you're driving thru it.
